Engineering Surveys was established in 1977 by Rene Rudi Lieuw-Kie-Song. This was in the time when the government of Suriname was extensively exploring the assets of the country. ENSU rapidly gained confidence of various clients and the Government of Suriname due to the accuracy of their works and the short time frame used to execute jobs. Part of the success was also due to the diversity of approaches in the various branches of Survey.
In 1999 Mr. Errol Nelson Verwey joined ENSU and brought in the latest technology and created contacts worldwide to provide survey services from cadastral survey to civil works (infrastructure and construction) and independent arbitrary survey for court cases in Suriname and worldwide.

In 2005 Mrs. Nielkamal(Niel) Kalpoe joined the company to expand the development of boundary cadastral survey and court assistance and is now a substantial part of ENSU’s product and service assistance. In general Mrs. Niel Kalpoe is responsible for all the development in the cadastral area. She is also the main person in charge of the union of licensed surveyors.

ENSU N.V. must be known for the reliable and professional approach of all land surveying and civil/infrastructure works in Suriname. Through years of experience with surveying, civil and infrastructure works and also by the pool of skilled technicians and engineers working at ENSU, we try to translate every wish and / or problem of our clients into an application that works in practice.
